The generator does actually power some lighting at this point, including four circuits of house lights and four circuits of stage lights (sermon area lights). Does the generator allow for lighting? When the power cut out this week the shades happened to be down which meant that the auditorium was nearly pitch black. While a generator may provide the audio power for a sermon the lighting also needs to be addressed for a sermon to start/continue safely. Opening the shades let in a lot of light even on a rainy, overcast day so having the curtains able to be operated off of generator power would be beneficial.
